What We Can Do Together

A Few Ways to Spend Time Together

Sometimes you know exactly where you want to go. Sometimes you just know you’d like to get out, and have someone to join you.

These outing packages offer an easy place to start, from exploring a Portland neighborhood to browsing galleries, trying a new restaurant, or lingering over books and tea. Choose whatever catches your interest, and we’ll plan the details around your pace and preferences.

Have something else in mind? I’d love to hear it.

Explore Portland

A little more at home, one outing at a time.
3 hours · $120 | Extend to 4 hours · $160

Moved to Portland for work, a fresh start, or a change of scenery? If you’re still waiting for your social circle to catch up, let’s get you out exploring.

We’ll choose a neighborhood and build an easygoing outing around your interests, perhaps a bookstore, a few interesting shops, a café, and a little wandering along the way. You bring your curiosity; I’ll bring good company.

An enjoyable introduction to the city, at your pace.

The Rainy Day Muse

Books, hot tea, and a conversation worth lingering over.
2 hours · $80

Spend a cozy afternoon browsing Powell’s, trading book recommendations, and following whatever shelves catch your attention.

Afterward, we’ll settle into a nearby café for tea and conversation, favorite characters, abandoned books, creative ideas, or whatever else comes up.

You don’t have to read the same books to enjoy a good conversation.

The Gallery Wander

Art, conversation, and permission to linger.
2 hours · $80 | Extend to 3 hours · $120

Want to explore galleries with someone who enjoys looking closely, discovering something unexpected, and talking about what catches your eye?

We’ll choose a few galleries in one area and take our time. Share your impressions, find a new favorite, or simply enjoy looking together. No art expertise required.

Plan it around a gallery evening or book a quieter daytime wander. Add a café stop if you’d like more time to talk.

The Restaurant Test-Drive

That place you’ve been meaning to try? Let’s go.
2 hours · $80

You’ve saved the restaurant. You’ve studied the menu. You just need someone to join you.

Let’s check out a new spot, share a few small plates if we like, and enjoy a meal with conversation. Adventurous eater or creature of habit, you don’t need matching tastes with your entire friend group to finally make that reservation.

Choose somewhere you’ve been curious about, or we’ll find an option together.

A few practical details

Prices cover our booked time together. Food, drinks, tickets, and other agreed activity costs for both of us are additional. We’ll agree on the plan and anticipated expenses before booking.

We meet at the agreed location and arrange our own transportation. Each outing can be planned around your preferred pace, seating needs, and comfort.

Plan Something Else

You choose what sounds good to you. I’m there for conversation, connection, encouragement, and good company.

Conversation & Coffee

Coffee, tea, lunch, dessert, or simply a comfortable place to sit and talk.

Conversation can be funny, thoughtful, personal, lighthearted, deep, or wander happily between all of the above.

Walk With Me

Neighborhood walks, parks, gardens, waterfront paths, nature trails, and gentle hikes—whatever pace feels comfortable for you.

Out & About

Museums, galleries, bookstores, markets, restaurants, shopping, gardens, neighborhood exploring, creative events, festivals, or somewhere you’ve simply been curious about.

You can choose the outing yourself, or I’m happy to offer ideas.

Come Along

Concerts, performances, lectures, exhibits, theater, festivals, cultural events, or something else you’d really like to attend but would rather not attend alone.

Let’s Make Something

Grab a sketchbook, pick a craft, try a class, or come make something just for the fun of it.

We can draw outside, paint, collage, take a workshop, visit a creative studio, or try something neither of us has done before. No talent required. No pressure to be productive, just artsy fun.

Get-It-Done Company

Some things are just easier when another person is there.

I can join you while you run errands, work through a to-do list, make returns, shop with you for groceries, or finally get around to something you’ve been putting off.

For things you need to do at home, virtual body-doubling sessions are available by phone or video. You do the task; I provide company, encouragement, and a little momentum.

Have you ever thought?

  • “I’d love to go, but I don’t want to go alone.”

  • “My friends are wonderful, but none of them want to do this.”

  • “I’m new here and I’d love someone to explore Portland with.”

  • “I work from home and need a reason to get out of the house.”

  • “I’ve been putting this off because it would be easier with someone there.”

You don’t need a dramatic reason to want company.

$40 per hour

Two-hour minimum for in-person outings.
One-hour minimum for virtual body doubling.

Longer outings, evening events, and trips outside the immediate Portland area can be discussed individually.

If an outing involves tickets, admission fees, activity fees, or a meal that’s part of the planned experience, the client covers those costs for both of us.

I cover my own parking and my own way there.

Your booking fee is for my reserved time and company. So if the gallery unexpectedly closes, the weather changes, or halfway through a walk you decide you’d rather sit somewhere and talk, we can simply change plans.
